The side chain tensioner enables simple, fast and safe chain tensioning and replacement. The tensioning screw is operated laterally through the sprocket cover. - Adjustable oil pump Different cutting lengths, types of wood and working techniques require different amounts of oil. The oil pump with adjustable flow rate allows the oil flow rate to be precisely adjusted according to requirements. It is possible to reduce the amount of oil fed in by up to 50%. - AIR FILTER WITH LONG-LIFE PREFILTERING FOR LONGER FILTER LIFE. Prefiltering removes coarse and larger particles from the air stream before they can reach the actual filter. The HD2 filter also keeps fine dust particles away from the engine, thus ensuring a long service life for the engine, longer cleaning intervals and easy servicing of the chain saw. Only if the chain saw is equipped with a prefilter and HD2 filter can one speak of a long-lasting air filter system. In fact, this system allows a considerably longer filter life than conventional air filter systems. - REDUCED MAINTENANCE COMPENSATOR. By means of pressure compensation, a regulating system in the carburettor known as the compensator, it is ensured that despite the increased fouling of the air filter, engine power, exhaust gas quality and fuel consumption remain almost constant over a long period of time.
