An electric motor is a particular electric machine, usually rotating that transforms the electrical energy input, applied to the power terminals, into mechanical energy output made available on the motor axis. This type of electric machine is based, similarly to what happens in the electric generator, on the electromagnetic forces that intervene in the interaction between a system of currents and a magnetic field.
