'Personal protective equipment' (PPE) means any equipment intended to be worn and held by the worker for the purpose of protecting him against one or more risks liable to threaten his safety or health at work, and any accessories or accessories intended for this purpose. The PPE are different, are linked to the activity carried out by the worker and allow to protect the same from multiple risks inherent to their activity.
