The intake manifold is the part of an engine that receives and provides fresh air to the cylinders. It consists mainly of the air filter, throttle throttle, intake manifold and injection system. It is used to ensure that the correct mixture of air and fuel is burned by the engine, its two main purposes are to maintain a high air volume and distribute it equally between each cylinder.
